Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: Shiv Thakare Offers Prayers To Bappa, Celebrates With Family; See Photos

Reality TV star Shiv Thakare celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with his family on Tuesday.

On Monday, Shiv Thakare made his way to the Ganpati Pandal to welcome Lord Ganesha for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 contestant selected a deity idol that deeply resonated with him. He also took a photo of the idol he had chosen to bring home and shared it with the paparazzi.

“I was roaming for the past 3 days to find the murti I feel connected to. Even in Amravati I used to do the same. The idols are the same but it is about Bappa’s eyes that I often search for when I bring him home for 10 days. Bappa has made me capable enough to not worry about the expensive murti and I am taking home such a lovely murti,” he said, as quoted by ETimes.

On Tuesday, Shiv Thakare took to Instagram to share photos from Ganpati celebrations at his place. He joined joined by his parents. The reality TV star wore a light pink kurta and offered prayers to Bappa. Sharing the photo, he captioned the post: Ganpati Bappa Morya 🌸🙏🏼 Ganesh Chaturthi ki hardik shubhkamnaye. Shiv had earlier spoken about renovating his home in Amravati. He had told ETimes, “I have been doing preparations for the past month in Amravati. I have gotten the rooms renovated and got new rooms made for the guests. My friends from Mumbai will also come for Chaturthi. The mandap for Bappa is also in making and the rest Puja and everything is performed by my Aai, I do the job of eating modaks.”

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival goes beyond cultural borders, marking a celebration of wisdom, goodness, and nurturing a deep feeling of unity.
